OpenStreetMap

While searching for mapping tools, I came across a new project called OpenStreetMap. Its has a very nice method of making your own maps!!! As per my tests, its functionality is really good. And any novice an start mapping within a couple of hours!!.
Have a look and happy mapping!

Santaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Sajith, my Santa, landed today, I got my Phone, Memory Stick, GPS and lots of other stuff i always wanted... :)Now the issue is to find a suitable GPS application for the Laptop and the Cellphone. The one I tried with doesnt have waypoints etc.. So cant save locations. I am thinking of giving it to Sajith itself, many reasons, 1. He paid for it, 2. He said, He liked it and is interested in having it. 3. A used nokia phone would be cheaper and will have more application support :) Yet to decide, but the chances of keeping is is around 10%.
My Cisco Switch reached today, but its totally damaged, sent the seller the information and he asked for photographs of the same. I will send them to him tomorrow. And its Onam today!!! :) Its nearly 3.30 AM and I am totally drunk right now, wondering how would I make myself available at my mom's tharavadu in the morning!!
Legs are still hurting from the work outs 3 days ago, may be they are getting stronger!! :), I am loving the pain....
Thats all for today!!

More Reliance..
Yesternight, around 9 O'Clock, I received a call from Reliance. A lady called Karina talked about the billing fiasco and promised to sort it out. I was thinking nothing would happen... But today i received a call from one around same time today. and the good news! They FIXED IT!!. So, I would receive RS.912 as refund in my next bill. But, I dont have my phone anymore and so far, dont have plans to use it again. If they want to keep me, they better give me a new phone :P.Labels: cell phone, dispute, reliance
